I have had the privilege of calling Lafayette, Louisiana, my home for over two decades; with a strong background in the social service field, I have witnessed firsthand the impact of individuals who long to know and understand who they are.
Born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, my legacy has made me into the woman I am today. Everything I do is centered around faith, family, and community.
My unique coaching style inspires and empowers individuals to live authentically within the purpose that they believe God has set out for them. As the owner of Empowered with Purpose LLC, I passionately lead my community toward their own empowerment by teaching them to write their own stories.
I am the published author of five books, including Anchored in Christ, which includes a study guide and three journals: The Purposely Driven Journal, The Empower You Journal, and The Unshakeable Marriage Journal.
In addition to my writings, I am the host and producer of "The Purposely Driven Podcast," a platform accessible on all major podcast platforms. You can easily find my books on popular retail platforms like Amazon, Books A Million, Barnes and Noble, and within the Acadiana area. In 2023 I took the lead in organizing the inaugural Black Author Expo. The Black Author Expo gave me a vision to create a vibrant community among local authors and creative individuals driven by a passion for creating their own narratives.

My approach to self-publishing is to provide personalized author coaching to help clients overcome limiting beliefs on their writing journey. I believe in a holistic approach to coaching, considering all aspects of my clients' lives. My approach to coaching is rooted in emotional and positive intelligence and mindfulness. I work collaboratively with my clients to help them identify their strengths, overcome limiting beliefs, and develop practical strategies for achieving their goals. I believe that coaching is a process of self-discovery, and I am committed to providing a supportive and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore their inner strengths.
